About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Data Warehouse Analyst / Data Model Owner to join our team and support the growth of our cloud-based Data Warehouse platform.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll help improve and scale our data model so it can support new integrations, reporting needs, and better decision-making across the business.

What You’ll Do

You’ll ensure the Data Warehouse evolves in line with business needs while maintaining strong technical foundations. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Data Model Ownership: Analyze, maintain, and improve the Data Warehouse model, ensuring consistency, usability, and scalability.

• Dimensional Modeling & Data Marts: Design and manage logical and dimensional models (Star Schema, Snowflake) for Data Marts supporting regulatory and management reporting.

• Source System Integration: Collaborate with teams across Core Banking, Loan Origination, Digital Banking, CRM, and other systems to understand data structures and ensure smooth, scalable integration.

• Data Mapping Review: Validate and align data mappings and extraction logic with overall Data Warehouse standards and reporting needs.

• Collaboration with Development Teams: Provide clear functional requirements and data modeling guidance for implementation of DWH structures, ETL/ELT processes, and Data Marts.

• Regulatory Reporting Support: Contribute to integrating new regulatory requirements by defining necessary model enhancements.

• Data Quality & Validation: Define and support data quality rules, validation checks, and reconciliation processes.

• Business & Technical Liaison: Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, translating business needs into structured data solutions.

• Documentation & Governance: Maintain clear documentation and ensure strong governance of data models and business rules.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Data Warehousing and Data Modeling within the banking sector

• Solid background in banking or financial services

• Familiarity with core banking systems (e.g., FCUBS or similar)

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in dimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake, Data Marts)

• Proficiency in SQL (Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server)

• Good understanding of ETL/ELT concepts

• Hands-on experience with key DWH concepts (SCD Type 2, surrogate keys, fact & dimension tables)

Domain Knowledge

• Strong understanding of banking data (loans, deposits, transactions, accounts, exposures, etc.)

• Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks (Basel, IFRS)

Key Competencies

• Ability to translate business requirements into effective data models

• Strong attention to detail, especially around data quality

• Collaborative mindset across business and technical teams

• Ability to maintain and enforce Data Warehouse standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with Microsoft Azure Data Platform

• Exposure to regulatory reporting and compliance

• Experience integrating multiple banking systems into a DWH

• Hands-on experience with ETL tools or database development

• Experience using data modeling tools
